Inclusion Movement Principals
1.
All students receive education in the school they would attend if they
had no disability.
2.
A natural proportion of
students with disabilities occur at each school site.
3.
A zero-reject philosophy exists so that typically no student will be
excluded on the basis of type or extent of disability.
4.
School placements are age-and grade-appropriate so that no self-contained
special education classes will exist.
5.
Special education supports exist within the general education classes and
in other integrated environments.
